What is a GN 1/1 container and when do you need one?
A GN 1/1 container is a professional food storage container that fits perfectly into standard gastronorm equipment such as bain-maries, refrigerated display cabinets and buffet setups. You use this container for storing, transporting and presenting food in kitchens, restaurants, catering companies or canteens.

Why choose the GN 1/1 size?
The GN 1/1 size, measuring 530×325×100 mm, is the most universal size in the professional kitchen. This container fits in almost all gastronorm equipment and, with a capacity of 13,25 litres, offers enough space for large portions without becoming too heavy to transport. The size is ideal for storing main courses, salads or side dishes.

Benefits of the stainless steel construction
This container is made of chrome-nickel stainless steel with an electropolished finish that gives a satin-smooth surface. This material is resistant to corrosion, retains its shape even under intensive use and does not react with acids in food. The stainless steel does not retain odours and does not discolour.

Practical features for daily use
The container is fully dishwasher-safe, which considerably simplifies cleaning in busy kitchens. Thanks to its stackable design, you can store several containers efficiently and save valuable space in refrigerators or storerooms. Please note that this container is compatible with all standard GN 1/1 equipment and racks.
