These BIC Kids colouring pencils are perfect for creative children. The hexagonal shape provides a good grip and the vibrant colours make every artwork cheerful. Thanks to the sturdy cardboard case, all 18 pencils stay neatly together.
When do you choose this product?
What are wood-free colouring pencils and when do you need them?
Wood-free colouring pencils are made from pressed pigment without a wooden casing, which means they last longer than traditional pencils. The BIC Kids Tropicolors have been specially developed for children who draw and colour a lot. You choose this type when you are looking for pencils that do not break easily and consistently produce thick lines.
Why a hexagonal shape is the right choice
The hexagonal barrel keeps the pencils from rolling off the table and provides a stable grip for small children's hands. This design helps children improve their grip and prevents pencils from constantly falling out of their hands while drawing. The shape supports a natural pencil grip, which is important for the development of writing skills.
Advantage of the wood-free construction
Thanks to the wood-free composition, these colouring pencils do not splinter, even with intensive use by children. This means you will not get sharp splinters that could be dangerous, and the tip stays intact for longer. The vibrant colours remain consistent because there are no wood fibres that could disrupt the flow of colour.
Practical tip for optimal use
With 18 pieces you have a wide range of colours for all drawing projects. Store the pencils upright in a pencil pot so the tips stay protected. Because of the wood-free construction, you can also sharpen these pencils safely with an ordinary pencil sharpener, but work carefully so that the tip does not become too blunt.
