This is why Dex likes this article
This BIC marker writes on almost any surface, from cardboard to glass to plastic. The wedge-shaped tip gives you flexibility for both thin and thick lines, and the ink is water-resistant and doesn't fade.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a permanent marker?
A permanent marker is what you use when you need to apply markings or labelling that must withstand water and wear. The BIC Marking Onyx 1481 is ideal for labelling stock, marking tools or labelling boxes and packaging that may come into contact with moisture.
Why choose a wedge-shaped tip?
The wedge-shaped tip of this marker offers flexibility in line width between 2.7 and 6.2 mm. You can create broad markings for eye-catching labels as well as thinner lines for detailed labelling. This makes one marker suitable for a range of applications without needing multiple widths.
Reliable alcohol-based ink
The ink in this BIC marker is alcohol-based, which makes it wipe-proof and waterproof and means it dries quickly. These properties ensure your markings remain permanent, even when exposed to moisture or frequent handling. Its light-fastness prevents the red colour from fading when exposed to sunlight.
Versatile material compatibility
This permanent marker writes on virtually all materials, including cardboard, glass and plastic. The metal body with a cap and end piece in marker colour make the marker sturdy and recognisable. With a writing length of more than 1 kilometre, you get long-lasting use from a single marker, making it suitable for intensive office or warehouse use.
