What is tree tie tape and when do you use it?
Tree tie tape is used to stabilise young trees and shrubs by fastening them to support posts or stakes. This prevents wind from damaging the tree or pulling it out of the ground. The tape is essential when planting new trees in your garden or replanting after a storm.

Why choose this 50 mm width?
This 50 mm wide variant offers sufficient surface area to distribute the pressure evenly over the tree bark. This prevents notching or damage to the trunk, which can happen with tie material that is too narrow. The width also provides more stability than narrower alternatives.

Advantages of polypropylene as a material
The polypropylene material is UV-resistant, so the tape withstands weather conditions for years without discolouring or becoming brittle. This synthetic material does not stretch and retains its strength, even in changing temperatures and humidity. This way, your tree stays well supported throughout the entire growing season.

Practical to use thanks to an adjustable size
With 25 metres on a roll, you have enough material for several trees. The tape can be cut to size yourself, so you can cut off the right length for each tree. Thanks to the black colour, the tie tape is less conspicuous among the greenery in your garden and blends naturally into the landscape.
