When do you need a universal axe?
A universal axe is indispensable for chopping firewood, felling thicker branches and general woodworking jobs in the garden or workshop. You need this tool when a regular saw or pruning shears are too small for the job, but you don't yet need a heavy felling axe.

Why choose this 380 mm size?
With an overall length of 380 mm, this axe sits right between compact hand tools and heavy work axes. This size provides sufficient leverage for effective chopping, while you still retain control and precision. It is ideal for domestic use without having to be a full-time woodcutter.

Hardened steel for lasting performance
The most important component of this axe is the blade of hardened steel, 110 mm long. Hardened steel stays sharp longer than ordinary steel and does not quickly go blunt, even with intensive use. The fibreglass handle provides a good balance between sturdiness and weight saving, so you can keep working without fatigue.

Anti-slip grip for safe working
The TPR grip zone prevents the axe from slipping out of your hands during work, even when your hands become damp from exertion or weather conditions. This not only increases your working comfort but, above all, safety when chopping. The grey/orange colour scheme makes it easy to spot the tool again in the workshop or shed.
