When do you need an extension cable?
An extension cable is useful when the power cord of your device is too short to reach the socket. This often happens with office equipment, tools or household appliances where you need more freedom of movement or the nearest socket is too far away.

Why choose the 10-metre length?
This 10-metre version gives you sufficient reach for most office and home situations without having to connect several shorter cables. You can place equipment at a good distance from the socket, such as printers in another corner of the room or presentation equipment in meeting rooms.

What does the 1.5 mm² conductor thickness mean?
The conductor thickness of 1.5 mm² makes this cable suitable for standard office equipment such as computers, printers, monitors and smaller electrical appliances.

Practical tips for use
This extension cable is fitted with an earthed plug and socket (Schutzkontakt), meaning it is suitable for three-pin plugs and offers additional safety. The white colour is less conspicuous in office environments. Make sure you fully unroll the cable during use to prevent overheating, especially with appliances that draw a lot of power.
