When do you need a yellow ink cartridge?
Yellow ink is essential for printing colour documents, photos and presentations. You need this Brother LC-1280XLY cartridge when your printer indicates that the yellow ink has run out or is almost empty. Without yellow ink, colours cannot be reproduced correctly and prints will show an incorrect colour balance.

Why choose the XL version?
The LC-1280XLY is a high-capacity cartridge that can print approximately 1,200 pages. This is considerably more than a standard cartridge, so you need to replace it less often. For offices or home workers who print in colour regularly, this means fewer interruptions and a better price per print.

Compatibility with your Brother printer
This cartridge has been specifically designed for the Brother MFC-J6710DW, MFC-J6910DW and MFC-J5910DW printers. It is important to check that your printer model matches one of these before you order. Optimal print quality is only guaranteed with the correct compatibility.

Practical tip for installation
Store the cartridge in a cool, dry place until you need it. Do not shake the cartridge before installation, but do remove all protective tape and plastic according to Brother's instructions. Make sure you only take the cartridge out of its packaging when you are going to install it straight away, to prevent it from drying out.
