When do you need a 25 mm padlock?
A 25 mm padlock is ideal for light security applications where you want to protect your belongings against opportunistic theft. You choose this size for lockers, toolboxes, bicycle racks or other situations where you want a visible deterrent without needing extremely heavy-duty security.

Why choose a short shackle?
The short shackle of this padlock offers fewer points of leverage for cutting tools, making it harder to force the lock open with a prying action. This makes it a sensible choice for places where the padlock is easily accessible and where you want to prevent someone from easily using tools on it.

Brass offers durability against the weather
The brass material ensures that this padlock is resistant to rust and corrosion, even when used outdoors. Brass retains its functionality in damp conditions and temperature changes, so you can use it both indoors and outdoors without the mechanism seizing up due to the weather.

Practical tip for key management
With the three keys supplied, you can keep one key as a spare and, if needed, give an extra copy to a trusted person. Store the spare key in a safe place that is not directly linked to what you are securing, so you always keep access if you lose your main key.
