What is a calligraphy exercise book and when do you use it?

A calligraphy exercise book is specially designed for learning and practising handwriting skills. The Séyès line system, which this notebook uses, is the French standard for writing lessons in which you learn to form letters neatly within specific lines. You need this type of book when you want to improve your handwriting, practise calligraphy or teach children to write with the correct proportions.

Why choose this A4 format?

The A4 format offers enough space to write and practise comfortably. With 96 pages you get a substantial amount of practice space without the notebook becoming too thick. This format is ideal for extensive writing exercises, calligraphy projects or whenever you need plenty of room to shape letters and words.

Durable polypropylene cover for long-lasting use

The transparent polypropylene cover makes this notebook particularly sturdy and water-resistant. This plastic protective layer ensures your exercise book withstands daily use and transport in a school bag or backpack. The transparent material lets you see the contents while also protecting against stains and tears.

High-quality paper for comfortable writing

The vélin surfin paper, 90 g/m², has been specially chosen for writing. This smooth, fine paper prevents ink from bleeding through and ensures a pleasant writing experience with a variety of pens. The piqûre reliure (saddle-stitch binding) holds all pages together securely, even during intensive use for writing exercises.
