When do you need special acrylic paper?
This sketch pad is specifically developed for acrylic paint and differs from ordinary drawing paper with its thick 400 g/m² structure. Acrylic paint requires a sturdy surface that can withstand moisture and does not curl under heavy layers of paint. The acid-free paper ensures that your artworks will not discolour over time.

Why choose this A2 format?
With dimensions of 420×594 mm, this sketch pad offers the popular A2 format, ideal for larger acrylic works where you need space for expressive brushstrokes. This format gives you enough working room without the paper becoming unwieldy on your work table. The 10 sheets make it suitable for a series of paintings or for trying out different techniques.

Canvas texture for authentic painting results
The paper has a special canvas grain that imitates the texture of real canvas. This structure helps the acrylic paint to adhere and creates interesting effects when you work with dry brush techniques. Thanks to this property, you can work with undiluted, highly opaque layers of paint without the paper absorbing the paint too quickly.

Practical binding along the long side
The pad is glued along the long side, which means you can easily tear off the paper without damaging the format. This binding ensures the paper stays flat while you paint and does not curl at the edges. Store unused sheets in a dry, flat place to keep the best results.
