This thick acrylic paper with a linen texture is ideal for paint applied straight from the tube. The acid-free quality ensures your artworks stay beautiful for a long time.
When do you choose this product?
What is acrylic paper and when do you use it?
Acrylic paper is specially developed for painting with acrylic paint and offers an alternative to canvas. You use this paper when you want to work with acrylic paint but still enjoy the advantages of paper, such as lower costs and easier storage. The thick material copes well with the properties of acrylic paint.
The advantages of this paper
This paper can be used both for thinned paint in thin layers for transparent washes, and for multiple layers of opaque, undiluted paint for striking impasto effects. The high grammage and sturdiness ensure that the paper does not warp. This thickness makes it possible to apply different painting techniques, which is essential when painting with acrylics. The acid-free nature protects your artwork against discolouration in the long term.
The canvas texture
The paper has a canvas texture that gives grip to your brush and paint, similar to the feeling of painting on canvas. This promotes better paint adhesion and supports your artistic development.
Practical considerations when using
With 10 sheets per pack, you have enough material for several projects or for experimenting. Store unused sheets flat and dry to prevent warping.
