What is crêpe paper and when do you use it?
Crêpe paper is a versatile craft material with a crinkled texture that is perfect for making flowers, decorations and creative projects. You use it when you want to add volume and dimension to your creations, as the material folds, pleats and shapes easily into three-dimensional objects.

Why choose this 0.5 × 2.5 metre format?
This compact format of 50 cm wide and 2.5 metres long gives you enough material for medium-sized projects without being tied to a large, unwieldy roll. The half-metre width is ideal for making petals, garlands and other decorative elements where you can divide the paper into smaller pieces.

The properties of 32 g/m² crêpe paper
The paper weight of 32 g/m² strikes the right balance between flexibility and sturdiness. It is light enough to work and shape easily, yet has enough body to hold its shape when you turn it into flowers or other decorations. The poppy red colour gives your projects a warm, vibrant look.

Practical tip for best results
Store the roll in a dry place to prevent the paper from absorbing moisture and losing its shape. When working with crêpe paper, gently stretch the edges to make use of the material's natural elasticity - this creates realistic creases that are perfect for flower petals and other organic shapes.
