When should you use drawing paper with a grain texture?
This CANSON drawing paper has been specially developed for dry drawing techniques such as pencil and charcoal. The light grain texture provides the right grip, so your material adheres well to the paper. Choose this type of paper when you are making detailed drawings in which texture and depth are important.

Why choose this size and weight?
At 50×65 cm, this paper offers sufficient space for medium to large drawings. The weight of 180 g/m² gives the paper sturdiness without becoming too heavy to work with comfortably. This weight prevents the paper from curling or tearing during intensive drawing.

What does the light grain texture mean?
The light grain texture of this CANSON paper has just enough texture to hold pencil and charcoal well, but it is not so coarse that it disrupts your lines. This quality makes the paper suitable for both fine details and large areas of shading. The texture helps in building up different shades of grey.

Practical supply for your studio
The pack of 25 sheets gives you a good working supply without needing to stock up on large quantities. The paper is best stored lying flat in a dry environment. Thanks to the standard size, you can easily trim the paper if needed for smaller studies or divide it for several sketches.
