When should you choose an A3 sketchbook?
A sketchbook is for drawing, sketching and doodling when you need more space than a regular notepad offers. The A3 format of 297×420 mm gives you plenty of working space for detailed drawings, landscape studies or designs in which you can fully develop your creative ideas.

Why this format and this binding?
This sketchbook is bound along the long edge in portrait format, so you can hold the book steadily while drawing. The stapled spine means the book can lie completely flat, which is especially useful when making large sketches that span the whole page.

Suitable paper for different techniques
The white paper has a weight of 140 grams per square metre, which is sturdy enough for pencil, charcoal and light wet techniques. With 20 sheets you get enough pages to finish a project or try out various ideas without the book becoming too thick to work with comfortably.

Practical for on the go and storage
The black cover protects your drawings and gives the sketchbook a professional look. Because of the A3 format, it fits in most drawing cases and portfolios, while remaining compact enough to take outside for nature studies or urban sketching sessions.
