Special drawing pad for manga enthusiasts with heavyweight 200 g/m² paper that won't let ink bleed through. The smooth surface ensures fluid lines and sharp details in your drawings.
When do you choose this product?
What does this sketchbook do?
This special sketchbook has been developed for drawing manga and other illustrations. The white paper with a smooth texture ensures that you can draw fine lines and details without the pen or pencil snagging. The acid-free composition means your drawings will not discolour or deteriorate over time.
Why choose this A4 format?
The A4 format is ideal for manga drawings because it offers sufficient space for detailed panels and characters. With 30 sheets, you have enough paper to work out complete stories or try out different concepts. The block is glued along the short edge, so you can easily draw upright without the paper shifting.
The importance of 200 g/m² paper weight
This paper weight of 200 g/m² is sturdy enough to use various drawing materials without the ink bleeding through to the other side. The paper does not curl easily and stays flat while you draw. This weight is heavier than standard drawing paper, but not so thick that it becomes awkward to work with.
Practical drawing advice
The smooth surface works best with fineliners, fountain pens or pencils for the precise line work associated with the manga style. Always start with light pencil sketches before committing to final lines. Store the block horizontally to prevent creases in the paper, and use a backing sheet to avoid imprints from previous drawings.
