When do you choose this product?
When do you need black drawing paper?
Black drawing paper offers unique possibilities for artists who want to experiment with light colours on a dark background. Use this sketch pad when you want to work with white, yellow or other light materials that don't show up well on white paper. It creates dramatic effects and forces you to look at light and shadow differently.
Why A4 format is practical
The A4 format of this sketch pad is ideal for studies, sketches and smaller artworks. You can easily take it with you in your bag and it fits on any standard workspace. With 20 sheets, you have enough paper to try out different techniques without having to buy a large pad straight away.
Mixed Media paper at 240 gram
This Graduate Mixed Media paper of 240 grams per square metre is suitable for several techniques at once. You can use both dry and wet materials on it, from pencil and pastel to watercolour and acrylic paint. The smooth surface ensures that your materials work evenly, while the acid-free paper prevents your artwork from discolouring over time.
Practical glued binding
The pad is glued along the short edge, which means you can easily flip the sheets from top to bottom while you work. This gives you more space on your workspace and prevents you from accidentally smudging your drawing. After drawing, you simply tear the sheet off along the glued edge.
