When do you choose this product?
When do you need a grey tones assortment?
CANSON Mi-Teintes drawing paper is specially developed for artists who want to experiment with different shades of grey. You choose this assortment when you want to practise shading, create monochrome drawings or combine different grey values in a single artwork. The 160 g/m² paper is sturdy enough for a wide range of drawing techniques.
Why this specific size of 500 x 650 mm?
This A2 format gives you enough space for detailed drawings without the paper becoming unwieldy. You can make large compositions or divide the format into several smaller studies. For portrait drawings or landscapes, this format offers the perfect balance between working space and clarity.
Ten different shades of grey in one pack
This assortment contains ten carefully selected shades of grey, from light grey to anthracite and black. You get both neutral greys and greys with a warm undertone, such as mottled red-grey. This variety allows you to create subtle colour transitions and express different moods in your artwork.
Practical tip for optimal use
Keep the different shades of grey sorted so you can quickly find the right tone while drawing. The Mi-Teintes paper has a light texture that is well suited to charcoal, pastel and graphite. Test first on a corner to see which drawing tools respond best to the paper texture before you start your final work.
