When do you choose this product?
What does this watercolour pad do?
A watercolour pad is special paper that can absorb moisture without tearing or warping. You need this for wet painting techniques such as watercolour, gouache and acrylic paint. The pad is glued along the long side, so the paper does not curl or ripple while you paint.
Why this size of 24×32 cm?
This format offers enough space for detailed work without being unwieldy. You can work comfortably at the table, and the pad easily fits in most artist's cases or storage spaces. With 100 sheets, you have enough paper for a long period of creative work.
The strength of 200 g/m² paper weight
The paper weight of 200 g/m² ensures the paper is sturdy enough to absorb water and paint well without bleeding through. The paper is also acid-free and fungicide-treated, which means your work will last a long time and will not discolour.
Practical tip for use
Always work from the top of the pad downwards. The pad remains glued along the long side until you have completed a sheet - then gently tear the sheet off. Thanks to the gluing, the rest of the pad stays flat, even when you work with plenty of water. The paper is suitable for all wet techniques, so you can experiment with different types of paint on the same pad.
