This quality 100% cotton watercolour paper gives your watercolour techniques the space they deserve. The handy A5 format and sturdy hardcover make it perfect for on the go, while the elastic band keeps everything neatly together.
When do you choose this product?
What does this sketchbook do and when do you need it?
This CANSON ART BOOK is specifically designed for watercolour techniques and watercolour paint applications. The 300 g/m² watercolour paper is heavy enough to absorb moisture without cockling or tearing. You choose this sketchbook when you want to paint watercolours on the go or use watercolour paint in a compact format.
Why the A5 landscape format is the right choice
The landscape format (210 x 148 mm) gives you a wide working area that is ideal for landscapes, panoramas and compositions where you want to work horizontally. This format fits easily in your bag and still offers enough space for detailed work. With 20 sheets, you have enough pages for an extensive series of sketches without the book becoming too thick.
The advantage of 100% cotton paper
The paper is made from 100% cotton, which ensures optimal water absorption and colour reproduction with watercolour techniques. The finely grained texture gives you control over the watercolour paint and prevents the paint from flowing away too quickly. This paper quality is more durable than wood pulp paper and retains its shape better in damp conditions.
Practical design for on the go
The double spiral binding on the short side means you can open the book fully flat without pages getting in the way. The hardcover with elastic strap keeps your work safe and protects it from damage during transport. You can close the book firmly and take it with you without worrying about creases or loose pages.
