This is why Dex likes this article
This sturdy Canson sketchbook goes everywhere with you, thanks to its handy A5 size and durable hardcover. The acid-free 300 g/m² paper is perfect for both dry and mixed techniques, giving your creativity plenty of room.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a mixed media sketchbook?
This sketchbook is ideal when you are experimenting with different drawing techniques in a single piece of work. The heavier 300 g/m² paper holds both dry and wet materials well, from pencil and charcoal to watercolour and ink. Perfect for artists who like to combine different media without having to switch paper.
Why choose A5 format with a hardcover?
The A5 format (148 x 210 mm) offers enough space for detailed sketches, yet remains compact enough to take with you anywhere. The hardcover protects your work on the go and gives the book a professional look. With 34 sheets, you have plenty of pages for a complete series of sketches or a long-term project.
Advantages of the medium-grain texture
The paper has a medium-grain texture that offers versatility. This texture provides enough grip for dry techniques such as pencil and pastel, while remaining suitable for wet techniques. The acid-free paper prevents discolouration over time, so your work keeps its original appearance.
Practical spiral binding along the long side
The double spiral along the long edge allows the book to lie fully open or fold back. This is handy when drawing in cramped spaces or when you are right-handed and do not want your hand to rub against the binding. The book lies flat and stable, which makes drawing more comfortable.
