This A3 sketch pad from CANSON has been specially developed for illustrations and manga drawings. The smooth, white paper ensures sharp lines and beautiful colour depth in every creation.
When do you choose this product?
When should you use special manga paper?
This sketch pad has been specially developed for illustrations and comic design, with a focus on manga drawings. Choose this product when you work with ink and want to draw sharp lines without the paper becoming saturated or bleeding. The smooth surface ensures that your pen or marker glides smoothly across the paper.
Why A3 format for manga illustrations?
The A3 format gives you ample working space for detailed manga characters and panels. You can easily draw multiple frames side by side or create one large illustration without feeling restricted in your creativity. This format is ideal for both professional and hobbyist manga artists.
The benefit of 250 gram paper
The paper weight of 250 grams means you are working with sturdy, thick sheets that do not crease or tear easily. This weight prevents ink or markers from bleeding through the paper to the next page, which is essential when working with different drawing tools. The white surface with its smooth texture lets your lines stand out clearly.
Practical tip for use
With 12 sheets in this pad, you have enough space to try out different characters or create a short manga strip. Always store unused sheets flat to prevent creasing. The CANSON paper works well with various types of ink, from fineliner to brush pen.
