This sturdy Canson drawing paper with a grainy texture offers plenty of grip for pencil, charcoal or pastel. With 24 sheets in total, you can get straight to work on your next sketching project without running out of paper halfway through.
When do you choose this product?
Which drawing techniques is this paper for?
CANSON C à Grain drawing paper has been specially developed for dry drawing techniques such as pencil, charcoal, pastel and chalk. Thanks to its slightly textured surface, the paper grips pigments well, allowing you to create beautiful transitions and depth in your drawings.
Why 180 g/m² is the ideal weight
At 180 g/m², this paper sits right between light and heavy drawing paper. It is sturdy enough to withstand multiple layers without tearing or bending, yet not so thick that it becomes awkward to work with. This thickness also prevents your drawing from curling while you work.
Practical packaging for different projects
You receive 2 pads of 12 sheets each, giving a total of 24 A4 sheets. This division is handy because you can use one pad for exercises or sketches while saving the other for finished work. The A4 format is ideal for studies, portraits and smaller artworks.
Store your paper the right way
Keep the pads in a dry environment and lay them flat to prevent creasing. Keep them out of direct sunlight to avoid discolouration. Only open a new pad once you have used up the old one, so the paper stays optimally protected from moisture and dust.
