What is Canson drawing pad Dessin JA?
This drawing paper has been specially developed for sketches and drawings using various dry drawing techniques. The 180 g/m² paper has a slightly grained texture that ensures optimal grip for your drawing materials. Thanks to its acid-free nature, your artwork will stay beautifully white for years without yellowing.

Why choose this size and weight?
The 500×650 mm format gives you plenty of room for extensive drawings without the paper becoming unwieldy. The weight of 180 g/m² makes this paper sturdy enough to bear multiple layers of material without tearing, yet flexible enough for detailed work. The pack of 250 sheets means you can stock up for a long time.

Ideal for dry drawing techniques
This paper performs excellently when working with pastel, charcoal and conté. The slightly grained surface structure holds these materials well and prevents them from smudging away. The pure white paper gives your colours the right brightness and ensures good contrast in your black-and-white drawings.

Practical tip for use
Store the sheets flat in a dry environment to prevent creasing. Thanks to its acid-free composition, you can also use this paper for important studies or artworks you want to keep for a long time. The paper is highly resistant, so you can erase and correct without damaging the surface.
