This compact Canson sketchbook goes wherever you go. The lightly textured 160 g/m² paper works beautifully with pencil, pastel or charcoal, and thanks to the micro-perforation, you can tear out a sketch cleanly.
When do you choose this product?
What does this sketchbook do and when do you need it?
The CANSON sketch block has been specially developed for various drawing techniques. You use this block when you want to sketch, draw or experiment with different materials such as pencil, pastel, charcoal or pen. The lightly textured paper provides the right surface for creative expression.
Why choose the A5 size?
With dimensions of 148 x 210 mm, this A5 size is ideal for drawing on the go and portable sketching projects. The compact size fits easily into a backpack or bag, so you can draw anywhere. The 30 sheets provide enough room for an extensive series of sketches without the block becoming too thick.
What does the paper weight of 160 g/m² mean?
The paper weight of 160 g/m² provides sturdiness without the paper becoming too heavy. This weight prevents ink from bleeding through and offers sufficient resistance to various drawing materials. The lightly textured surface provides just enough grip for pastels and charcoal, while remaining smooth enough for fine pen work.
Practical benefits of the spiral binding
The top-bound spiral allows the block to be fully opened and laid flat while you draw. Thanks to the microperforation, you can tear finished drawings neatly from the block without ragged edges. This is handy when you want to present or keep your work without damaging the binding.
