When do you choose this product?
For versatile drawing techniques
The CANSON XL Mixed Media sketch pad has been developed for artists who want to work with different materials. This special paper has a rough texture that is ideally suited to a wide range of drawing techniques. You can use it for both dry and wet media without the paper becoming soggy or damaged.
Why spiral binding
The spiral binding at the top means you can draw easily without your hand coming up against the binding. In addition, you can fold the sheets back completely, which makes working in cramped spaces easier.
Heavy paper for professional results
At 300 grams per square metre, this paper offers the sturdiness you need for intensive techniques. The paper's high volume ensures excellent absorption of all types of drawing and paint materials. The rough surface holds pigments well, allowing you to create beautiful colour gradations and texture effects.
Suitable for all popular materials
This sketch pad works excellently with charcoal, chalk, gouache, acrylic paint, watercolour and pastel crayons. Thanks to the universal properties of the paper, you don't need to switch between different pads for different techniques. You get 15 sheets plus 3 extra free sheets, which makes the pad particularly good value for regular use.
