When do you choose this product?
What are watercolour pencils and when do you use them?
Watercolour pencils combine the precision of coloured pencils with the painterly effects of watercolour paint. You draw your design as usual, but by adding water the lines transform into soft watercolour effects. This technique is ideal for illustrations, sketches and artistic projects where you want to create both detailed line drawings and smooth colour transitions.
Why 18 colours is the right choice
This set offers a complete colour palette with essential basic colours such as yellow, orange, various shades of blue, and earthy tones like ochre and brown. With 18 carefully selected colours, you can draw and paint virtually any subject without needing additional colours straight away. The set contains both warm and cool shades, so you can achieve all colour harmonies.
Soft and water-soluble properties
The soft lead, with a diameter of 2.8 mm, ensures smooth colour release and easy blending. Thanks to its water-soluble composition, you can go over your drawing with a wet brush to create watercolour effects. The soft texture means you need less pressure, which eases your hand during long drawing sessions. The vibrant colours retain their intensity even after being dissolved with water.
Practical benefits of the hexagonal cedar wood
The hexagonal shape prevents the pencils from rolling off your drawing table, which is especially handy while you work. The cedar wood is easy to sharpen and breaks less easily than cheaper alternatives. Thanks to its break-resistant properties, the leads stay intact, even with intensive use or if the pencils are accidentally dropped.
