This Caran d'Ache gouache set brings colour to your desk or studio. With 12 richly pigmented tubes, a brush and a handy metal case, you're fully equipped for your next creative project.
When do you choose this product?
What is gouache and when do you use it?
Gouache is a water-based paint with natural binders that you can dilute with water. This paint lets you paint both transparently and opaquely, making it ideal for art projects where you want to create intense, vibrant colours. Use gouache when you want your colours to stand out well and not fade.
Why choose 10 ml tubes?
The 10 ml tubes in this set give you enough paint for multiple projects without having to buy large quantities. This size is practical for both beginners and advanced artists who want to try out different techniques. With 12 different colours, you have a complete basic palette to get started with.
High pigment concentration for vibrant results
This gouache contains a high concentration of pigments, which ensures vibrant colours that remain clearly visible on paper. The paint also has good lightfastness, meaning your colours won't fade quickly when your work is exposed to light. This makes the set suitable for artworks you want to keep for a long time.
Practical metal case with brush
The set comes in a handy metal case that you can easily take with you and that keeps all the tubes neatly organised. A brush is also included, so you can start painting straight away. The metal box protects your paint from damage and keeps everything together on the go or for storage.

Dex knows - user tips
Shake or stir the tube well before use so that the pigment is evenly distributed. Gouache dries faster than you might think, so work with small amounts and keep your palette moist to prevent it from drying out.
