These water-soluble coloured pencils with cute animal themes turn every drawing into a work of art! The soft leads deliver beautiful colours, and adding water creates lovely watercolour effects.
When do you choose this product?
What are water-soluble colouring pencils?
Water-soluble colouring pencils combine the convenience of ordinary coloured pencils with the possibilities of watercolour paint. You can draw with them just like normal coloured pencils, but adding water creates beautiful watercolour effects. This makes them ideal for creative projects where you want to combine different techniques.
Why choose this 12-piece set?
With 12 colours you have a well-balanced palette for most drawing work without being overwhelming. It is a perfect starter set for children being introduced to water-soluble pencils, or for anyone who doesn't need a large collection straight away. The KAWAII Animals edition makes it even more appealing for young users.
Practical benefits of this edition
The hexagonal shape prevents the pencils from rolling off your desk while you work. The soft 2.8 mm core ensures good colour release and is also break-resistant, which is handy with intensive use. The cedarwood gives a comfortable grip and is easy to sharpen.
How do you use them to best effect?
Start by drawing dry for details and outlines. Then add water to the colours with a damp brush to create watercolour effects. You can also dampen the paper first and draw directly onto the wet surface with the pencils for soft, flowing transitions between colours.
