With these water-soluble coloured pencils from Caran d'Ache, you can create beautiful watercolour effects on paper. The soft, break-resistant cores glide smoothly and the hexagonal shape sits comfortably in your hand.
When do you choose this product?
What are water-soluble coloured pencils?
Water-soluble coloured pencils are versatile drawing tools that you can use both dry and wet. You first draw normally with the pencil, then go over the lines with a wet brush to create watercolour effects. These CARAN D'ACHE coloured pencils are ideal for artists who want to experiment with different techniques within a single work.
Why choose this 12-piece set?
A set of 12 colours gives you a good basic palette for a variety of creative projects without being overwhelming. The compact size makes this set perfect for beginners, students, or as an addition to an existing collection. You have enough variety to create colourful works, yet the set remains manageable and affordable.
Soft lead for smooth colouring
These pencils have a soft 2.8 mm lead that glides smoothly and blends well. Thanks to the soft composition, you can easily create even areas of colour and achieve beautiful shading and gradients. The break-resistant property means the lead is less likely to snap during use, which is especially handy when drawing intensively.
Practical details for everyday use
The pencils are made of cedar wood and have a hexagonal shape, so they sit comfortably in your hand and won't roll off your drawing table. The cedar wood makes them easy to sharpen with an ordinary pencil sharpener. For the best protection of the points, store the pencils horizontally in a pencil case or box.
