When do you need a mechanical pencil?
A mechanical pencil is ideal when you want to draw, write or sketch precisely without the interruption of sharpening. It gives you the perfect balance between fine lines and enough firmness of the lead, making it ideal for technical drawing, taking notes and everyday writing.

Why choose an aluminium hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal aluminium barrel of this CARAN D'ACHE mechanical pencil provides a firm grip without your fingers slipping during use. Aluminium keeps the pencil lightweight yet robust, so it withstands daily use. This shape also prevents the pencil from rolling off your desk.

Practical details that make the difference
This mechanical pencil has a metal clip that is flexible enough to attach to various materials without breaking. The metal push button contains a handy eraser for small corrections. At the back there is a clever lead reservoir, so you always have spare leads at hand.

What's included?
The mechanical pencil comes with three HB leads, which offer a good middle ground between hardness and darkness of the line. HB leads are suitable for both writing and light sketching. Thanks to the integrated lead reservoir, you don't need to buy extra leads straight away and you are ready to use immediately.
