When should you choose an aluminium rollerball pen?
A rollerball pen such as the CARAN D'ACHE 846.509 is ideal when you want smooth writing without the pressure of a ballpoint or the maintenance sensitivity of a fountain pen. Thanks to the rollerball technology, the pen glides effortlessly across paper, making it perfect for long writing sessions, taking notes or signing documents.

Why choose a hexagonal barrel?
The hexagonal shape of this pen provides a stable grip while you write. Your fingers have more purchase than with round pens, so your hand tires less quickly. This makes the pen particularly suitable for people who write a lot or who have a weaker grip.

Durable aluminium construction
This rollerball pen is made entirely of aluminium, which gives it a sturdy construction that can take a knock. The material feels pleasant in the hand and keeps its shape, even with intensive use. The flexible metal clip lets you attach the pen securely to your pocket or notepad without it breaking.

Practical with refills and storage case
Thanks to the refillable system, you don't need to buy a new pen every time the ink runs out. The pen comes with an extra flat metal case with a magnetic closure, which is handy for storing it in your bag or at your desk. Be sure to use genuine CARAN D'ACHE refills to maintain optimal writing performance.
