When do you choose this product?
What do watercolour pencils do?
Watercolour pencils combine the convenience of coloured pencils with the possibilities of watercolour paint. You draw dry, just like with ordinary coloured pencils, but adding water creates watercolour effects. This makes them ideal for art projects where you want to create both line drawings and smooth colour transitions.
Why 18 colours in a set?
With 18 different colours, you have an extensive colour palette for versatile projects. The set includes basic colours such as yellow, orange and red, but also specific shades such as emerald green, ultramarine blue and carmine. This variety allows you to create both realistic and creative works without needing multiple sets.
Soft, water-soluble quality
The pencils have a soft 2.8 mm lead that releases easily and dissolves well in water. Thanks to the soft texture, you get intense, vibrant colours that flow beautifully when you wet them. The cedar wood ensures the pencils feel comfortable in your hand, while the hexagonal shape prevents them from rolling off your worktable.
Practical storage and use
The metal case keeps your pencils organised and protects them from breaking. For the best results, use watercolour paper or thick drawing paper that can withstand water. Always start with the lightest colours and work towards darker shades.
