When do you use a plotter roll?

A plotter roll is intended for large-format inkjet printers, also known as plotters. You use this type of paper when you want to make wide prints that are too large for a regular printer, such as technical drawings, architectural plans or posters.

Why this size and weight?

This roll has a width of 610 mm and a length of 45 metres, which matches a popular format for A1 and A0 wide-format plotters. With a paper weight of 120 g/m², you get a sturdier sheet than standard plotter paper, which gives the result more body and makes it less likely to crease during handling.

Specially treated paper for sharp prints

The paper has a special coating that ensures a short drying time after printing. This is handy when you are processing several sheets in quick succession or when you want to pick up the prints straight away without smudging. The high whiteness of the paper contributes to clear contrast, which is visible in prints with a lot of colour detail.

Practical tip when loading the roll

When loading, note that the paper at the end is not stuck to the core — this is deliberately the case with this roll, which makes it easier to release and load into your plotter. Do check, however, that your plotter is suitable for a roll width of 610 mm and that the device can handle 120 g/m² paper, as not every inkjet plotter supports heavier paper without adjusting the feed settings.
