Sustainable watercolour paper made from 100% bamboo fibres, with a soft grain and silky texture. Ideal A3 size to experiment with all your watercolour techniques, without compromising on quality.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need bamboo watercolour paper?
Watercolour paper is essential for all work with watercolour paint, ecoline or other liquid paint types. This Clairefontaine bamboo watercolour paper offers a sustainable alternative to traditional paper, as it is made entirely from bamboo fibre instead of wood.
Why choose this A3 size?
With dimensions of 297 x 420 mm, A3 size gives you enough space for larger compositions and more detailed work. This size is ideal when you don't want to be limited by a small work surface, yet still want to stay manageable while working at your table or easel.
The benefits of bamboo watercolour paper
The 250 g/m² bamboo fibre creates a natural white paper with a light, soft grain and silky texture. These qualities give your paintwork a subtle structure without being dominant. The paper is glued on one side, which means one side has been specially treated for optimal paint absorption and to prevent bleeding through.
Practical tips for working with this pad
You receive 15 sheets of watercolour paper bound in block form, so they stay flat and stable while you work. Make sure you use the correct side of the paper: the glued side feels slightly smoother and is intended for your paintwork. Store unused sheets dry and flat to prevent curling.
