For which techniques do you use this watercolour pad?
This Clairefontaine ETIVAL watercolour pad has been specially developed for watercolours and wet techniques. The 300 g/m² paper can absorb a lot of water without tearing or warping, which is essential when working with liquid paint media.

What does the four-sided gluing mean?
Four-sided gluing means that all four edges of the pad are glued down. This prevents the paper from wavering or curling when you use water. You work on the top sheet and, once it has dried, gently tear it away from the pad. This way your surface always stays flat while you paint.

Practical tip for storage and use
The paper is acid-free and made from 100% cellulose, so your work will stay beautiful for a long time. The fine grain provides just enough texture for watercolour techniques without being too rough. Store unused pads flat and dry to maintain their quality. The item is supplied in packs of 4.
