What is crêpe paper used for, and when do you need it?
Crêpe paper is the ideal material for creative projects where you want to add volume and texture. You mainly use it for party decorations, school projects, craft activities and making flowers or other decorative elements. The crinkled structure gives a distinctive look that plain paper simply cannot offer.

Why choose this 500 mm × 2 metre size?
At 500 mm wide and 2 metres long, this crêpe paper offers enough surface for medium to large projects. You receive 10 sheets, which means you have 20 square metres of material to work with in total. This size is practical because you can make smaller decorative elements as well as cover larger surfaces.

The 40% quality grade explained
This Clairefontaine crêpe paper has a 40% quality grade, which refers to the stretchability of the material. This property means you can stretch and shape the paper without it tearing straight away. The quality is suitable for standard craft projects where you want a balance between workability and affordability.

Practical storage tip for long-term use
The crêpe paper is supplied folded to a compact width of 90 mm, which makes it easy to store. Preferably keep the sheets dry and flat to prevent creasing. The lemon-yellow colour is best preserved if you keep the paper away from direct sunlight during storage.
