This is why Dex likes this article
This 100% cotton watercolour paper gives your paintings a silky, smooth texture and is also erasure-resistant, acid-free and pH-neutral. With 12 sheets in A3 size, you have all the room to let your creativity run free.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need 300 gsm watercolour paper?
This watercolour paper has been specially developed for wet techniques such as watercolour, gouache and ink. The heavy paper weight of 300 gsm ensures that the paper does not curl or tear when you use a lot of water. You need this type of paper when you want to create professional watercolour paintings or when you are experimenting with liquid media.
Why A3 format is the right choice
The A3 format of 297 x 420 mm gives you plenty of room for detailed watercolours and landscape compositions. This format is large enough for serious artistic work, yet still manageable enough to work at a desk comfortably. For portraits, still lifes or nature studies, this format gives you all the freedom you need.
The advantage of a satin texture
The satin grain gives you a smooth working surface that is ideal for fine details and soft colour transitions. This texture lets the watercolour paint flow beautifully without the grain becoming too dominant in your final result. The paper is also erasable, so you can refine preliminary sketches without damaging the surface.
Practical properties for optimal results
The paper is made from 100% cotton and sized on both sides, so you can work on both sides. Thanks to its acid-free and pH-neutral composition, your artworks will keep their colours over time. The block contains 12 sheets, enough for a series of studies or a few finished compositions.
