When do you choose this product?
When do you need kraft paper tape?
Kraft paper tape is used for the eco-friendly packaging of parcels and boxes. This brown tape is ideal when you are looking for a sustainable alternative to plastic adhesive tape. The kraft paper is pH-neutral, so it does not cause damage to your packaging material or contents.
Water-activated system requires water
This kraft paper tape works with a water-activated system, which means you need to moisten the adhesive side before applying the tape. Although this is an extra step compared with self-adhesive tape, this system provides a very strong and permanent bond that will not come loose during transport.
Practical tip for use
For the best result, you will need a tape dispenser with a water reservoir, or you can moisten the tape by hand with a damp sponge. The 60 g/m² kraft paper is sturdy enough not to tear when applied, but it can easily be torn by hand to the desired length.
