The perfect sketch pad for all your drawings and sketches! The textured 180 gsm paper gives grip to pencil and charcoal, while the A5 size is handy when you're on the go.
When do you choose this product?
For which applications do you use a sketch pad?
A sketch pad is used for making sketches, drawings and other artistic work with dry techniques. This Clairefontaine Grain sketch pad has been specially developed for artists, designers and hobbyists who work with pencils, charcoal, pastel chalk or other dry drawing media.
Why choose the A5 format?
The A5 format (148 x 210 mm) offers the ideal balance between working space and portability. You can easily sketch on the go without the pad taking up too much room in your bag. With 30 sheets, you have enough pages for an extensive sketching project or several smaller works.
The benefit of grained paper of 180 g/m²
The grained surface ensures that dry drawing media adhere better to the paper, giving you more control over your lines and hatching. The paper weight of 180 g/m² provides a sturdy surface that does not easily bend or tear, even with intensive use of pencil or charcoal.
Practical features for long-term use
The pad is glued along one side, so the sheets stay securely in place while you draw. The acid-free paper ensures that your artworks will not discolour or become brittle over time. Once finished, you can easily remove the sheets from the pad without damaging them.
