Versatile drawing paper suitable for all techniques. The textured surface creates lovely effects, and the sturdy 160 gsm quality prevents show-through when using wet paint.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need textured drawing paper?
Textured drawing paper is ideal when you want to draw with dry techniques such as pencil, chalk, charcoal or pastel. The slightly rough texture ensures that the drawing and colouring materials adhere well to the paper. This Clairefontaine pad is suitable for both wet and dry techniques, so you can also work with watercolour paint, ink or markers.
Why the A5 format is practical
With dimensions of 148 x 210 mm, this A5 format offers a handy working size for sketches, studies and smaller drawings. The compact format makes the pad easy to take along in your bag or backpack. You can draw comfortably at a desk or on the go, without the pad taking up too much space.
The benefit of 160 g/m² paper weight
The paper weight of 160 g/m² means you are working with sturdy paper that does not curl or show through easily. This weight is heavier than standard drawing paper, which also makes it suitable for lighter wet techniques. The acid-free paper ensures your drawings won't discolour or become brittle over time.
Practical details for use
The pad contains 30 sheets and is glued along one side, so you can easily tear off a sheet when your drawing is finished. The white colour gives you a neutral background that displays colours well. Please note that this product is supplied in packs of 5, so you receive 5 pads at once.
