What is this paper for, and when do you need it?

Coloured paper is useful when you want your documents to stand out, want to create an overview in an archive, or want to give presentation material a recognisable look. This moss-green A4 paper from Clairefontaine is intended for situations where standard white paper offers too little distinction, for example when colour-coding departments, project folders or internal communication.

Why this format and this weight?

At 160 g/m², this paper is considerably heavier than standard printing paper. That makes it suitable for applications where you want a sturdier feel, such as cover pages, certificates, menu cards or information cards that are handled repeatedly. The A4 format fits in virtually every standard printer and in common binders and folders.

An honest note on versatility

An important point is that this paper is suitable for inkjet printers, laser printers and copiers alike. This means you can work with different devices within one office environment without having to buy separate paper for each printer type. Do keep in mind, however, that printed ink colours may look different than on white paper, as the green background affects the visibility of light colours.

Practical tip for use and storage

A pack contains 250 sheets, which is more than enough for an average project or a gradual stock within a department. Preferably store the paper in its original packaging in a dry place, so that it does not become more humid than the printer can handle. When using it in your printer, check that the paper guides are correctly set for the thickness of 160 g/m², as not all printers detect this weight automatically.
