What does this product do and when do you need it?

Clairefontaine Trophée 210 g/m² is a heavyweight coloured paper you use when ordinary copier paper is too light or too colourless for your purpose. Think of business cards, menus, invitations, certificates or representative company documents where the steel grey colour gives a sleek, professional look. The higher weight makes the sheet feel sturdy and less prone to sagging.

Why this format and this colour?

The A4 format matches the most common printers and cutting machines, so you can get started yourself without extra finishing steps. The steel grey colour is neutral enough to serve as a background for both dark and light prints, and gives documents a business-like, understated look without having to resort to expensive pre-printed paper.

Honest about the weight of 210 g/m²

At 210 g/m² you are clearly in the range of lightweight card. This means that standard paper trays in some printers may not always handle this weight through the normal feed. Therefore check in advance whether your printer supports this weight via the manual feed or a special heavy-media tray. The manufacturer states that this paper is suitable for inkjet and laser printers as well as copiers, but it is wise to consult the specifications of your device.

Practical tip for use and storage

With 250 sheets per pack you have enough stock for a range of printing projects without having to reorder straight away. Store the paper in its original packaging in a dry place, so that it does not warp due to humidity. With heavier paper this is just as important as with light copier paper, because moisture absorption can affect printing results.
