When do you need a digital kitchen scale?
A digital kitchen scale is indispensable for accurate cooking and baking where grams are crucial. You use it to weigh ingredients for recipes, portion food or check nutritional values. With a weighing capacity of 5 kg, you can weigh both small amounts of herbs and larger portions of meat or vegetables.

Why choose this compact format?
This scale has an extra-flat design of just 20 mm high, so you can easily store it in a kitchen cupboard or drawer. The compact size of 180 x 210 mm takes up little space on the worktop, yet still offers enough weighing surface for most bowls and ingredients. The glass weighing surface is hygienic and easy to clean.

Accuracy to the gram
The scale has a readability of 1 gram, which gives you the precision you need when following recipes. The LCD display shows the weights clearly, so you always get a clear reading. The tare function lets you subtract the weight of the bowl, so you only measure the weight of the ingredients.

Practical measuring options for international recipes
This scale supports several units of measurement: grams, lb/oz, ml and cup. This is handy when you use recipes from different countries that use other units. The scale runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are not supplied with the product, so please make sure you purchase these separately.
