When do you need a special fineliner for sketching?
A COPIC MULTILINER fineliner is specifically designed for making sketches and preliminary sketches, especially in combination with COPIC markers. If you create detailed drawings where you want to add colour later with markers, this fineliner prevents your lines from bleeding or fading.

Why exactly 0.1 mm and warm grey?
The 0.1 mm line width gives you very fine, precise lines for detailed work and small elements in your drawings. The warm grey colour creates subtle outlines that are less harsh than black, so your drawings have a more natural look. This is ideal if you don't want the lines to dominate your final result.

Why is the special ink formula important?
This fineliner contains copier-safe, waterproof and smudge-proof ink that is resistant to UV light. This means your lines won't fade when you work over them with other materials, and your drawings will retain their quality over time. The ink does not react with COPIC markers, so you can colour over your line drawings without worry.

Practical tip for optimal use
Always let your fineliner lines dry completely before going over them with COPIC markers. Although the ink is specifically developed to work with COPIC markers, this ensures the best possible result and prevents any colour transfer during the first few sessions of use.
