Protect your unused fibre optic ports from dust and dirt with these handy blanking caps. A set of 100 pieces ensures your network equipment continues to function optimally.
When do you choose this product?
What are fibre optic dust caps and when do you need them?
Fibre optic dust caps are small plastic protective covers used to seal off unused connections in fibre optic networks. You need them to keep dust, dirt and other contaminants out of empty LC Duplex ports, which is essential for maintaining optimal fibre optic connections.
Why choose LC Duplex dust caps?
LC Duplex is a widely used fibre optic connector that you'll find in professional network environments and data centres. These dust caps fit specifically on LC Duplex connections and ensure that unused ports remain properly sealed. This prevents damage to the sensitive fibre optic cores.
Plastic material for durable protection
These dust caps are made from plastic, which makes them lightweight and easy to handle. The plastic material offers sufficient protection against dust and dirt without damaging the delicate fibre optic connectors. They stay firmly in place yet are easy to remove when you want to use the port again.
Practical stock of 100 pieces
With 100 pieces in one pack, you have sufficient stock for larger installations or multiple projects. This is particularly useful for IT managers and installers who work with fibre optic networks regularly. Store the dust caps in a dry place and make sure you always have spares at hand for maintenance work.
