This is why Dex likes this article
Reliable fibre optic connection for your network thanks to 50/125 μm multimode fibres and ceramic ferrules. With a 10-metre cable length, you can effortlessly bridge greater distances between your equipment.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a fibre optic patch cable?
Fibre optic patch cables are used to connect network equipment in professional environments where high speeds and long distances are required. This DIGITUS cable is specially designed for multimode applications where you need reliable data transmission between switches, routers or other network components.
Why choose this 10 metre length?
At 10 metres, this cable offers sufficient flexibility for connections within server cabinets, between equipment in the same room or to adjacent workstations. The length is ideal when you don't want to be bound by short distances, but also don't want unnecessary excess cable that creates clutter in your network setup.
Advantages of the multimode 50/125 specification
This cable works with 50/125 micrometre multimode fibres and ceramic ferrules. This means you can rely on stable connections suitable for modern network speeds. The violet colour (RAL 4003) helps with identifying and organising different connections in complex network setups.
Duplex design for transmitting and receiving
The duplex design means you can both send and receive data with a single cable. Check in advance whether your equipment is compatible with the connectors of this cable.
