When do you choose this product?
When do you need a fibre optic patch cable?
Fibre optic patch cables are used to connect network equipment in professional IT environments where high speeds and stable data connections are essential. This DIGITUS cable is specifically designed for multimode applications where you need reliable fibre optic connections over shorter distances within buildings or data centres.
Multimode 50/125 µm specification
The 50/125 micrometre fibre optic classification offers excellent bandwidth characteristics for multimode applications. With ceramic ferrules, you get precise connector alignment for minimal signal loss. The 2-core duplex design enables bidirectional data communication over a single cable.
Colour coding for quick identification
The heather violet colour (RAL 4003) follows the industry-standard colour coding, making it easy to identify this cable among other fibre optic cables. This helps with organising your network installation and prevents mix-ups.
