Fully pre-pigtailed splice box that you can install straight away, with no fuss. Slides out for easy management and features coloured pigtails for quick overview in your patch cabinet.
When do you choose this product?
What does a fibre optic splice box do?
A fibre optic splice box is used to distribute and organise fibre optic connections in network cabinets. You use this product when you want to connect and manage multiple fibre optic cables in a structured way in a 19-inch rack environment.
Why choose 24 LC connections?
This DIGITUS splice box offers 24 ports, in the SC Simplex / LC Duplex configuration, and is of the OM4 type.
Advantage of the pre-terminated version
This model is fully pre-terminated: the fibre pigtails have been fusion-spliced and already laid inside the splice box. The pigtails are colour-coded. Because the fibre optic cable still needs to be spliced onto the pigtails, this is a step you carry out yourself.
Practical installation features
The sliding construction has couplers in a plastic housing. With a depth of 280 mm, it is advisable to allow sufficient space for cable management behind the box when mounting it.
