What is a Cat.7 installation cable and when do you need one?
A Cat.7 installation cable is a high-quality network cable used for the fixed cabling of buildings. This cable supports frequencies up to 1000 MHz and is suitable for professional network installations where high data speeds and stable connections are essential. You need this cable when installing structured cabling in office buildings, data centres or other business environments.

Why choose the 1000 metre drum version?
With 1000 metres of cable on a drum, you are prepared for large-scale installations. This quantity is ideal for entire floors or larger buildings where you need long cable runs. The drum version prevents you from having to join several shorter cables together, which benefits signal integrity and saves installation time.

S/FTP shielding for interference-free connections
The S/FTP (Shielded/Foiled Twisted Pair) construction offers double protection against electromagnetic interference. The galvanised copper braided shield and foil shielding ensure that your network remains stable even in environments with a lot of electronic equipment. This shielding is particularly important in office environments with many Wi-Fi signals and other electrical equipment.

Safety certification and practical features
The orange LSOH outer sheath complies with fire safety class D and various European standards such as EN 50173-1. The 4 x 2 x AWG 23 configuration guarantees the correct conductor thickness for optimal signal transmission. The orange colour makes it easy to distinguish this cable from other network cabling during installation and maintenance.
