This robust outdoor network cable keeps your connection stable, even in bad weather. With sturdy protection against kinking and pulling, it is perfect for outdoor installations that demand reliability.
When do you choose this product?
What does this network cable do?
This DIGITUS outdoor network cable provides a reliable network connection between devices in outdoor environments. You need this cable when you want a stable internet connection between buildings, to garden sheds, garages or other outdoor locations where regular indoor network cables cannot withstand the weather.
Why choose this 2-metre version?
The 2-metre length is ideal for short outdoor connections, for example between a modem and an access point on a balcony, or for bridging a short distance to an outbuilding. This length avoids unnecessary excess cable while leaving enough room for a practical installation without strain on the connections.
Robust protection for outdoor use
The flame-retardant polyethylene outer sheath protects the copper conductors against UV radiation, moisture and temperature fluctuations. This ensures the cable is able to withstand outdoor conditions.
Practical installation tip
The RJ45 connectors are fitted with a protective cover featuring kink protection, strain relief and locking protection. This additional protection prevents damage during installation and use. Make sure you keep the connectors dry while connecting them, and check that the locking mechanism of your network ports works properly before installing the cable permanently.
